Casey & Scott's wedding was absolutely amazing. Not only was everything gorgeous - it was simply a blast. I remember when I first met Scott and Casey and their daughter Sophia. I couldn't help but be excited about their wedding (and that was back in February!) because I knew that every detail would be perfect. It was!

Casey's dress was incredible.

All of the flowers and decorations were FABULOUS. Petal and Forrest  did a wonderful job of creating some of the most amazing floral arrangements and table decorations I've seen this year.

And of course, Casey was absolutely stunning. From her dress, to her jewelry, to the radiant glow of excitement - she was beautiful. She was also remarkably calm! In fact, from the moment I arrived at the salon in the morning, I couldn't help but notice that she just seemed to be having so much fun!

The ceremony was held at The People's Church in East Lansing, MI on the campus of Michigan State University.

Scott and Casey rented a trolly that took them from the ceremony to their fantastic reception at the Kellogg Center (also at MSU) - and a lot of places in between. I totally love this shot because it's completely spontaneous and to me just shows how in love these two are - and how much fun they had on their wedding day!

There are a lot of things I love about this shot - there's a lot of textures going on, but mostly I just love the way Scott scoops her up in his arms!

I won't lie - I totally stole this idea from a great friend (who was also our photographer at our wedding) Anne Ruthmann . I've seen a photo or two like this on her blog, and I couldn't wait to try it out. With over 20 people in the bridal party, this seemed like a great change! I love the way it turned out!

One of our destinations for fun portraits was the Michigan State Capitol building in downtown Lansing. I love these shots.

Did I mention that the reception was fantastic?! Can you feel how much fun they were having?!

This shot was an experiment, but I LOVE how it turned out. I love the contrast of the blue light, the silhouette, the fact that all of the attention was on them - yet in this image, for this moment - in their world it was just the two of them.

What an incredible ring.

Congrats Scott and Casey. I'm so honored I was able to share in your special day. May you have an awesome marriage!
