JASON ATEN | MICHIGAN PHOTOGRAPHER

Here's a snippet of my life recently! In addition to shooting a TON of portrait session (and it seems like even more because I don't usually do portrait sessions!), life has been keeping me VERY busy. Here's a few images from the last week or so of life.

This was my view outside the hotel room I stayed at on my way out to San Francisco for the wedding last week. My flight left Detroit at 6:05am, so I drove down the night before and stayed at the Westin in the Detroit Metro Airport. I literally looked outside my window and saw the gates. In fact, you can see the plane I left on the next morning, sitting there waiting for me!

We gave Madison her first bath. She LOVED it! Seriously - we thought she would throw a huge fit, but she absolutely loved it. I've been told that I'm not doing a very good job of keeping people posted on Madison so I figured I better start posting more. I promise there will be more great shots to come!

We also took Madison to her first Detroit Tiger's baseball game this past weekend. Talk about a long day. I had some portrait session in the morning - then I drove to Detroit with my brothers Eric and Kyle for our other brother Andrew's bachelor party. I stayed with them for dinner, and then met up with Beth and her family for the baseball game. We had bought tickets for her father for father's day, and it was a lot of fun. This was my first time to Comerica Park, and it's one of the coolest stadiums I've been in!

I've got more to post, but I have a ton of work to do right now! Look for posts about the weddings I've been working on, as well as some of the upcoming fun weddings. Also, I'll be posting the contest winner very soon!
